“Amusant à faire une fois, mais on ne réitèrera pas”

We liked the small terrace for outdoor meals in the sun, the cleanliness, the facilities, and the host’s kindness and helpfulness. However, the barge is actually two cottages stuck together, the neighbours’ “activities” made us feel cramped, a nearby road and a frequently used bridge added noise and spoiled the view we were after, it was hard to locate the place and there was no secure parking, and the surroundings and entrance of the cottage were unattractive.

We liked the setting, being on the water with a nice view, the interior layout, the comfort offered, the bedding, the air‑conditioning, and the kitchenette, which was very useful—thanks for the tea. I was able to plan a lovely birthday surprise thanks to the indoor and outdoor space. The outdoors offered a breathtaking sunset view and a starry sky. Security was helped by the restricted access. Shops were just 5 to 6 minutes by car. Great stay, thanks. I didn't enjoy the closeness to other bungalows as much, and the road sometimes broke the sense of serenity. A small parasol would have helped.

I was charmed by the unique cottage and its décor, but unfortunately, the proximity of the adjacent units and the constant noise from the nearby departmental road, which runs directly across the Seine, made for a less-than-ideal stay.
