Room in a very beautiful house, converted from a barn, where the two owners live. Great breakfast (full English breakfast) prepared on the spot by the lady. It’s far from civilization, a car is needed to reach any service, but it’s in a nice area.

We were greeted warmly by Lynn. We chose the larger room and it was a good size. The warm radiator in the room and the ensuite shower room in the evening and morning were a bonus. Breakfast – and coffee – was excellent, served on the upper floor of the beautifully converted barn. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the hosts and Lynn gave us a great recommendation for dinner in Buxton (Santiago Tapas), as well as a nearby pub. All our questions were answered with a smile. Although there is some narrow lane driving from the A515 up to the B&B in the hamlet of King Sterndale, it was no different from where we live in Kent. It is the perfect B&B for doing beautiful hikes in the Peak District. It is in a very quiet location and we had two good nights’ sleep. Thank you Lynn and Trevor, we are so glad we chose your place!

The host Lynn was very attentive. The property was lovely, lots of nice touches. Breakfast was amazing!. There was nothing I didn’t like about the place

Everything. 10 minutes from Buxton. Comfortable ground floor bedroom with lovely bathroom. Great nights sleep. Probably the best full English breakfast we’ve ever had using local produce that was beautifully cooked and flavoursome served upstairs in a huge dining room with wooden beams. The property is Grade 11 listed and a credit to the owners who are wonderful hosts. Nothing
