We stayed in a chalet with our dog and cooked our own meals, etc. We paid £30 to bring our pet but it wasn’t allowed in the café on sight; the bus service was awful, always late or overcrowded.

The breakfast and food were very good, well done to everyone at Sandy Glade. We liked everything, no problems, 100 % happy, and I’ll tell friends how great it is.

The bathroom was the only issue.

The shower was tiny, the kitchen cupboards were damp, and the floors were dirty. It could have been aired better to eliminate the damp.

The site was very clean and tidy with a lovely layout. The café, launderette, and entertainment area with outside seating were handy. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely book again, but I’d check the weekend theme first since I accidentally booked the rock‑n‑roll weekend. Everyone seemed to have a fantastic time. The caravan was pretty dated, the bronze 307 Holiday cost itself compared to other parks, and the prices were high for what John Fowler offered. The bathroom extractor fan was dirty, the shower tray was mouldy, and one bathroom door jammed, locking us inside! There was no starter kit like a dishcloth or washing‑up liquid, and the TV in the lounge was very, very small.
