“Disgusting,”
Breakfast was okay but limited; maybe yogurt. The front‑desk staff didn’t greet me because they were on a personal call. After checking in around 3‑3:30, I left around 5 and returned around 6‑7:30. The TV wouldn’t turn on, so we went to the front desk. They were taking a break, so we left to smoke a cigarette in our car while waiting. We told them we couldn’t get the TV to work and asked for maintenance. Nobody came. We waited longer, asked again, and they sent a message to maintenance, Paco, who still didn’t show up. At 11:20 we went up to see if anyone would look at the TV. I was tired of staring at four walls; I didn’t pay for a room to watch walls, and he said he couldn’t leave his area but was walking down the hallway. I didn’t understand. At 1:15 AM the phone rang in the motel room, and the front desk asked if we still wanted maintenance to fix our phone—what courtesy. I was checking out, and I won’t stay there again. All the pictures I submitted were behind the nightstand. We had to pull it out to use a plug‑in into the wall to charge phones, which was gross. There were Band‑Aids on the floor. The maid should check these things at least once a week behind furniture. I don’t want to do that today, but good customer service requires it, and sometimes I leave tips, but you never know.
