Great location close to the road, and also a good distance from Victoria Falls, which is a real gem in Dominica. We loved the calm of the place, the river near our lodging, and the enthusiasm put into the construction. We didn't have time to try the host’s table.

The continental‑style breakfast was hearty, with homemade bread, coffee, tea, butter and jams that let us handle the first meal of the day on our own. Patrice offered superb advice, especially about aspects of our trip we had left hanging before arriving on the island. The kitchen draws on local seasonal produce, creating inspiring dishes that blend new flavors and bold pairings from the garden vegetables. Every evening was a delightful experience with Kayla, the friendly collaborator who welcomed us to the restaurant. A special shout‑out to the tree‑shower, which added to our sense of adventure and disorientation! Our cottage was cozy with an attached kitchen, and we loved the exposed stone construction and natural ventilation. The river running beside the Lodge, where you can swim, was simply fabulous. Patrice greeted us warmly, gave great advice, was friendly and a superb cook—which matters on the island when you want good food—and the cottages were really nice; we’ll definitely be back.
