Being (almost) alone on a small island, away from city noise, was nice. A small, pleasant walkway lets you watch the big bats at dusk and see sunset colors. The place has potential, but it lacks installations (hammocks, sunbeds, etc.) to fully enjoy it. We got vegetarian dishes (at our request) that were pretty good, but no prices are posted, so watch the bill—it can be high. There isn’t much to do on the island; snorkeling is possible on the other side via a “trail” in the jungle, so two nights seem ideal. Also budget 2000 pesos for the round‑trip crossing, and there’s no Wi‑Fi.
