Staying in a converted horsebox was unique for the granddaughter and her friend. The bed on the upper level lacked a rail, risking a fall onto the sink, and the extra fire was placed unsafely near an electrical extension.

Location, accommodation, staff—everything. The peaceful, charming stay on a family‑run farm in North Yorkshire was a brilliant glamping experience. The setting was beautiful, tranquil, and a true escape from city life. The family’s pride in their work is evident. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, from the comfy bed to the cozy décor. Waking to birdsong and being surrounded by nature and friendly farm animals added to the charm. The kids loved exploring, and we all felt instantly at home. A perfect blend of rustic charm and comfort. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a relaxing countryside break with a personal touch.

We loved the relaxed, private vibe, especially being close to Flamingo Land and Scarborough beach. The outdoor pools and wellness centre were a must‑visit, and the farm setting really met every need—from vending machines to a variety of animals. The hosts were absolute superstars; Sharee was incredibly helpful and we’re grateful for everything. We’ll definitely return. A tiny tweak would be adding a couple of fans for summer, but we managed with our own. The private horse box area’s positioning was perfect, offering a nice breeze and sunshine on good days. 5* for us.

We’ve been back before and never stayed in the horse box, but it was lovely, cozy, and private. The family here always feels warmly welcomed, and we’ll definitely come back again.
