Even though you can see the hotel isn’t brand new and some areas could use a touch of TLC, it’s kept in good shape and spotless. Our rooms were immaculate, odorless, the A/C worked well, and every shift of staff we met was excellent. The location isn’t the most appealing because of a nearby abandoned plaza, but it’s very convenient and quiet. I’d recommend this hotel for short stays if you need to attend an event on Staten Island or nearby.

I booked a king‑size bed but was given a queen‑size room; when I called reception they said there were no other options and told me to check out.
