The breakfast was excellent and the beds were comfortable, but the toilet didn’t look clean and could have benefited from a better scrub.

Check‑in went smoothly, the room was a decent size, spotless, and the staff were professional; it was also within walking distance of our destination.

We dined on waffle day and it was fantastic, with plenty of fresh, not frozen, berries.

The staff were very friendly; we met Jessica, who was wonderful and welcomed us at check‑in, and after a long trip from Amsterdam we felt warmly received—everything was excellent.
