The location was beautiful and staying in a castle added value, and the windows were very authentic. However, the room was small and poorly insulated; I literally heard the little bird or the notification on my neighbor’s phone coming in. I slept by a passage door where many people went to have breakfast, and I was awake at 7 am. I also missed a chair to hang clothes, so the price‑quality ratio seemed bad for a hostel when I paid more than 100 euro.

The castle itself was fairly accessible, as was the garden, which was a nice bonus. It was very austere, though; you’re not allowed to bring food or drink into the room, and there’s no place to have a drink, no coffee or tea facilities in the room, and no pleasant atmosphere. I was there with a small girl, and there was little to do. There was no shower cream or shampoo, no hair dryer, and it felt out of date.

The location was nice, but the breakfast selection was limited.

The location was beautiful, the beds were great and the room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. Nothing to complain about.
