The thin, poorly insulated doors meant the rooms were loud at night; it felt like the neighbor was blowing his nose right in my room, and there were no sound barriers on the adjoining doors.

The staff were friendly and the room was roomy. The hotel sits between a motorway and a train track in an industrial zone. We experienced a fire drill while staying, and it could have been scheduled better—maybe in the afternoon instead of the morning. Breakfast was offered, but the plates and silverware were all paper or wood.

The beds and pillows at Hampton were the best, and the rooms stayed spotless; staff were courteous and very helpful. The price was higher than other hotels, but it was worth the cost.
