“entre a laa 21:30 y a las 24:00 me fui, no nos quedamos a dormir”
The location was good, but I didn’t like anything else; the room was small, the bathroom tiny, and nothing matched the photos.
“No recomiendo”
Cleanliness is the only thing that was good, which is a shame. I always try to highlight the positives at every place I stay, but this time I can’t; the photos on booking are far from reality. We needed to rest to sort out paperwork in Huelva, and we didn’t get a single minute of sleep—if I had stayed in my car I would have slept more. It’s a pity because with a few tweaks people would be very happy; it’s supposed to be a place to rest, but the main thing—bed—was impossible to get comfortable on; the mattress is subpar. The pillows feel like thin paper, and we didn’t sleep a wink. The sofa could use a stain removal to be usable; these are basic things. The walls are also dirty with stains that could be fixed with a fresh coat of paint. The bathroom is very clean, but because it’s so small the plastic curtain sticks to you all the time, making showering unpleasant. Adding blinds would help, because when the sun comes through the windows it’s impossible to sleep. We had to put towels between blinds to keep the neighbor from seeing us from his balcony—zero privacy. I could say more, but these are the basics needed for a good rest, and they’re missing. The elevator noise is so loud it feels like you’re inside it. As others have mentioned, this has been the case for months, along with the lack of cleanliness at the entrance we have to use. I blame myself for not reading reviews before booking; we’re hundreds of people who left unhappy. I won’t return. I hope this serves as a warning so you can improve the basic aspects of an accommodation that claims to offer good value. Regards, Álvaro.
The entrance to the room is insane—at 15:00, all day with the luggage on the floor, I would never book here again.
The spot is convenient, yet it looks very neglected and unwelcoming—there seems to be a tiny kitchen, but aside from a microwave and fridge there’s no spoon, cup, or plate. I asked for a blanket because only one sheet was provided and it was getting chilly at night, but no one answered. The pillows were tiny and uncomfortable, the towels were stained (the walls were stained too). It barely has the basics to be called a tourist accommodation, so it feels more like a cell than a hostel room that costs 75,-/night. They call it HOSTAL Antiguo Palacio HOTEL Paris, but the first thing they say is that it’s neither a hostel nor a hotel.
Very noisy.
