The service at the restaurant was top-notch, with a friendly waiter who explained everything clearly. The food was also well-prepared and served, and the rooms had nice balconies where you could relax. The pool was lovely and always clean, and the garden and park surroundings were nice and spacious. It was all very peaceful and comfortable. However, the access road to the hotel was a bit of a shock - it was a dirt road with some potholes, but that's just the way it is in Arusha.

The rooms were great, with very comfortable beds, but the bathroom was a bit of a disaster, although the water was hot and had good pressure.

The hotel's rooms and location are a far cry from what the photos suggest. The real issue, though, is the dirt road leading up to it - it's a nightmare for any car that's not a 4x4, and forget about walking it, it's not even lit. The paved section is a tiny 200 meters, but the rest of the 1.5 kilometers is a mess. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless they're really desperate.

“Beautiful quite retreat”

The hotel's staff are absolutely lovely, always willing to lend a helping hand. The hotel itself is situated in a quiet area just outside the town center, surrounded by a beautiful garden. However, the fact that it's on a hill means you'll have to rely on the hotel's drivers to get around, and sometimes they don't show up on time. The road's been washed out by floods, and it's only going to get worse during the rainy season.

The hotel's location is great, but the noise from the nearby area can be a real issue. The food is excellent, but it's not always available. I think they're taking advantage of the fact that many tour groups stop here.
