Happyland Inn

It’s a bit remote but close enough to our venue for a quick Uber. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and had all the small amenities we needed for an overnight stay. The staff were friendly and everything was supplied. I would definitely stay again, even for a longer stay. I loved the private back patios with a barbecue. Booking, check‑in, and check‑out were seamless. The only thing that could be added is another bedside table and lamp.

This motel surprised me—given the price, I expected less. The room was very clean, it was great that there was a microwave and fridge, and even though I didn’t use them much, the back patio was very cute. The room looked freshly painted and was quite pleasant. I also liked the door‑code check‑in and the fact that the staff texted to help you out. The motel itself was very close to the highway. The noise didn’t bother me, but they provided ear plugs, which would be handy for people bothered by the noise. Overall it’s a very convenient spot for anyone who wants to do things in cottage country/Muskokas without spending an arm and a leg. It could easily accommodate several nights. I didn’t find anything I didn’t like, but a few small details could make the room even better: some lightbulbs were burnt out, there was no Kleenex box or shampoo (soap was provided). I might have asked for these, and the staff probably would have helped, especially with the light bulbs, but they were more of a minor nuisance than a concern. I couldn’t get the TV to work, but I’m not very tech‑savvy. They did provide helpful guides to many of the items in the room, such as how to use the remote and how to use the fan/AC.

“The customer service that the owner showed us was exceptional.”

It’s easy to access, and the room was very clean. The only downside was constant road noise because the motel is roadside; ear plugs, which were supplied, helped.

“Worry free stay felt comfortable and was treated excellent”

The managers and owners were simply fantastic and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable; my only complaint was the slight noise from the highway traffic.
