The XPRS was perfect for a night’s stay and even cheaper with the outside cabin than most city accommodations. The restaurant selection was good, offering a large buffet plus a separate place for salads and hot dishes that the other ships don’t have. Overall, among the three Vikingline ships, the XPRS was my favorite. The evening departure from Helsinki was beautiful and it was quiet at night because it docked in Tallinn’s harbor.

The cabin was very clean and spacious enough. I think the check‑in time could be adjusted so guests don’t have to wait so long in advance.

I enjoyed the cruise vibe; food and other items were very affordable, the rooms were comfortable and spotless. The ship arrived much later than expected, and after checking in we had to wait three hours in the terminal; in the rooms there was no hairdryer.

The view was nice. The booking sent me an email that check‑in was between 18:00 and 18:30, so I hurried to the port only to discover it would start three hours later, ruining my day and schedule. On top of that, the next day we were supposed to arrive between 9:30 and 10:00, so I booked an activity at 11:00 that was far away, and we got there at 10:40, making me late.
