What did we like? You can truly disconnect here—pure peace, a great start for hiking. Christian is a fantastic host, offers many good hiking tips, and is always ready for a chat. The amenities are more than sufficient unless you’re after luxury, which isn’t the case here—my luxury was the quiet and the surroundings. Breakfast is top‑class and dinner is excellent, all fresh and homemade. We’ll definitely come back.

Instantly hit it off with the incredibly likable owner couple. Getting there was a breeze, the spot is gorgeous, and there’s a secure parking spot right by the house. The room offered a view of the countryside with a meadow and two goats. Even with the windows open at night it was pitch black, so the stars were visible. The room was huge, simple but comfy, featuring a large wardrobe and a double bed. The mattress felt pleasant, not sagging or anything. Nothing was missing, and the room—and the whole property—was spotless in every corner. Breakfast was well put together, high quality, and you could tell the chef was involved. The coffee was genuinely good (no typical hotel brown “flower water”), giving a relaxed start to the day. The spot is perfect for outings and hikes. Honestly, we couldn’t have imagined a better place. It’s clear the couple runs this inn with a lot of love. Thanks for the hospitality; we’ll definitely return. Only the best guests for you! :) No complaints at all. For anyone looking for a room: book while there’s availability—you won’t regret it.

The outstanding value for money was what thrilled us—from the location of the accommodation to the host who proved to be a very good host, to the very good and lovingly prepared breakfast served at the breakfast table, and not least the top kitchen with a small but exquisite menu that we enjoyed in the evenings, followed by good regional beer. All in all: a perfect getaway.
