Fjalladyrd Guesthouse impressed us in every way. We especially want to highlight the unique location. The rooms, the meals, the staff – nothing was lacking. We were very sorry to have to leave after just one night. The weather on the day of arrival could have been better; it was just Icelandic.

The situation is great, very isolated. They put us in a half‑wood, half‑peat hut, very welcoming. The facilities were very good. The cafeteria food was quite expensive.
