“très étrange 😬”
We finally got our rooms. The view is nice if you look far away, but in front of you there's a construction zone. I booked a hotel on the front line in front of the pyramids, yet we ended up walking 10 minutes to another hotel. The confirmation message with the hotel address didn't match, and even at the reception (where they barely spoke English) they had no reservation for us. In the end we got our rooms, but the bathroom cleaning was missing and there was a sock behind the door. So if you book, you don't know exactly which hotel you'll stay in. Luckily an Egyptian friend could call for us. You have to pay for drinks at breakfast.
