The accommodation is very well located, very pleasant and quiet with parking available; the room is quite small, very rustic in terms of comfort, but that’s probably the authentic side 😀

The location was fine, but the whole room stank terribly; after reporting it three times we were only offered a spray, no room change, refund, or anything else—communication was poor and it was far too expensive for what we got.

Sleeping in a hanok is highly recommended in Jeonju; this one is tiny but well kept, the host is very friendly, and despite barely speaking English she did everything possible to understand us and make our stay comfortable. We arrived very late at night but our room was ready, and we had the room number confirmed via a booking message, so no issues. The hanok sits inside the old Jeonju inn, but on a quieter side street, so there’s no night noise. Our room wasn’t very large but was enough for two people, though there are larger rooms available. The bathroom was fairly big, so you don’t get soaked when showering even though it’s a typical Korean bathroom without a proper shower and only one drain in the middle. The heating is underfloor, so sleeping on the futon was comfortable and warm. The only inconvenience was that the confirmation message was only in Korean, so we had to use a translator to understand our room number.

The staff were friendly and attentive, but sleeping on the floor isn’t very comfortable, though I knew it would be an experience.
