The owners seemed to have no idea who I was, which was a bit odd. The beach was super quiet, no other tourists, but that made me feel a little unsafe. Overall, a mixed experience.

The balcony had a great view, but the AC looked filthy and blew on my nose, so I had to buy antihistamines. The sheets had tiny blood spots, probably from mosquito bites. Breakfast was just a few slices of French bread with ham and cheese, coffee, juice, milk, and some fruit, and it cost R$38. The worst part was seeing a table set up for a couple with churros and extra food; I only got a churro after asking, and nobody else was offered it, which felt like favoritism and sloppy service.

The bed was comfy, but the bathroom was a mess.

We got a room with a sea view, Aracatiba beach is gorgeous, and the room was simple but cozy. The staff welcomed us warmly and gave us tips on what to do on the island, and we could dine right there. I'd come back. The only downside was that getting to Aracatiba from Angra do Reis is tricky and there's little info, plus breakfast wasn't very complete.

The location was good, but the breakfast was lacking.
