“Frühstück sehr gut, Lage toll aber insgesamt kein gutes Preis Leistungs Verhältnis”
The location right by the lake and the sauna were great, but the room was tiny, overpriced, and unfortunately disappointing.

The breakfast is excellent, with fresh, house‑made spreads that are absolutely recommended. The breakfast window from 07:30 to 10:30 is very convenient. The staff are very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The dinner menu is also highly recommended – tasty. If you don’t want a full three‑course meal, you can easily eat at the adjoining pizzeria, which is also staffed with friendly people and offers homemade cakes. The hotel features a lovely lounge with a billiards table and a fireplace – perfect for winding down after a day. It’s a great base for hikes, but there’s no supermarket nearby; you have to drive to Kochelsee for groceries, which isn’t a major drawback but worth knowing.

The common area is cozy and has a pool table, and the surroundings are fantastic. The bar closes at 6 pm.

The private pier with a sauna is top. The rooms feel outdated, but they are clean.

The view of the mountain and lake was stunning, and the hotel’s proximity to a hiking trail let us trek to the summit. An outdoor bar served food, and the town itself was a charming little spot. The restaurant was closed that Monday and Tuesday, which we understood as a slow period, and the other eateries in town were all within walking distance and good.
