The location is perfect, right in the centre of Alba, yet it feels quiet and peaceful, ideal for relaxing after a day out in a very evocative atmosphere. The free on‑site parking is a plus, not easy to find in central town hotels. You can access the building any time of day or night with a card that opens the doors and the parking gate. The reception isn’t 24 h, but when it’s open you always find friendly, smiling, and helpful staff. Breakfast is fairly basic, not comparable to hotel buffets, but it covers all tastes with sweet and savoury items and a range of drinks. One small, somewhat trivial note: my room didn’t have a mirror, only the bathroom mirror above the sink. I noticed this because I was in Alba for a wedding and couldn’t check my outfit. If I had stayed for another reason, I probably wouldn’t have noticed. It’s an insignificant detail that doesn’t affect my overall positive view of the place.

“Perfect stay in the centre of Alba!”

I stayed right in the heart of town, just a few steps from the cathedral, central square, restaurants, shops, cafés, post office, and the theatre sociale. The place was calm, safe, and exactly what I needed. The front‑desk girl was 10/10 helpful and friendly, going out of her way to explain trains, bike rides, and show me the garden—way better than most concierges I've met. Breakfast came in a nice room with a lovely spread: hard‑boiled eggs, yogurts, croissants, prosciutto, coffee, juice, and more. As a solo traveller, having a single room at great value was a real bonus. The only tiny downside was that during the week the school starts at 7:45, so if you want to sleep in, the day gets going everywhere. No other complaints.

The staff were very friendly, the location excellent, everything was uncomplicated, and the parking was huge and safe.

Die Freundlichkeit der Angestellten beim Empfang hat uns gefreut, die Lage war zentral und doch ruhig und das Zimmer war sehr sauber, wenn auch relativ klein. Beim Frühstück war nichts zu wünschen übrig. --+

“Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt OK”

The breakfast on the first morning was exceptionally good, especially the fresh bread, and the staff were unusually friendly and helpful. The rooms were as expected, very simple, but the beds were uncomfortable and you could hear every noise from the neighbouring rooms.
