“Struggle from finding the location to getting out of there”

The only thing that felt secure was the safety, but the bathroom was ridiculously tiny. No one could confirm my online booking in person; the staff stared blankly, and even a translator didn’t help. Checking in took an hour because we had to call the condo owner—who never answered—email them, and then give that info to the staff. The couch had a dirty cover over filthy cushions, and the lock had to be turned 540 degrees. I left my phone charger behind and my emails have still not been answered after three days. I should have taken photos; it was not worth half the price.

The place is close to the airport, which is very convenient. The room was decent and the TV worked well. The neighborhood felt relatively safe and reassuring. A great choice for a night of transit before or after a flight.

The apartment is centrally located near Terminal 3. It’s a 5‑minute walk via the Manila Footbridge over the runway; the rooms are nice and well equipped. There’s a pool in the complex, and the surroundings are fairly safe with shopping malls and restaurants within walking distance.

The space feels like a perfect home away from home. The host’s mum looks after the guests and the place, so there’s no need to hunt for a convenience store—fridge stocked with items you can buy. It exceeded my expectations, and I’d love to return. Highly recommended with no regrets about choosing it.

“Recepcionista incompetente”

The location is good. Upon arrival, the receptionist was very incompetent and told us he couldn’t give us the keys because there was no confirmation email. When I showed him the paid reservation, he said it didn’t count and we had to call the owner so he could email the receptionist himself. We had just landed, were using the apartment to rest after long flights, and had no internet or SIM. When I asked how to get internet, he snorted and said he didn’t know, smiling. To top it off, cockroaches were crawling on the reception desk and nobody seemed to care. We didn’t know what to do, and after waiting an hour while he talked on the phone and attended other guests, we decided to find a place to get internet, cancel the reservation, and sleep at the airport. When we left and walked about 10 meters, the receptionist came out and called us, saying the problem was magically solved. We entered, he handed us the key as if nothing had happened. The stress and the cockroaches made it almost impossible to sleep. I do not recommend it at all.
