Super location, very nice big room and bathroom. The stairs to the room are a bit steep (manageable, just a note). In the lobby there’s a book by L. Ron. Hubbard about Dianetics (Scientology) – that’s a choice you can make.

“Perfekte Lage mitten in Bamberg”

The location is great, you get a nice view from the many windows in the room, the room was very cozy. There was a mini‑bar, or a small fridge in the room, a kettle for tea or coffee, plenty of sockets for phones, etc. If you like the sound of the Regnitz, just open the window a little. The room and bathroom were very clean and there were enough towels. A plus is the bus stop right around the corner from the guesthouse, so you can quickly get to the ZOB or the train station in Bamberg. Nothing really to complain about, but you might want to check bookings a bit earlier. I received a call an hour before check‑in saying we probably hadn’t booked a room and they couldn’t do anything. That was a shock. Since I had all the paperwork, the misunderstanding was quickly resolved. I had booked and cancelled because the room on Booking was cheaper a few days later, so that caused the mix‑up with the host.

“Gemütliche Zimmer an zentralster Lage in Bamberg”

Room in an original, old house. Location absolutely top, right on the river, in the center near the town hall. The staircase is relatively steep and narrow (especially with luggage in hand), but that’s due to the historic building structure.

The location, the building itself is a landmark, nice terrace. The terrace wasn’t directly attached to the room, but downstairs at the back.
