Great! It was a fantastic stay. The accommodation is in a typical island, Canary house, about 5 min walking from Teguises historic town centre with all its restaurants and bars, yet still in a completely quiet area. The friendly hosts share their house with guests (there are 2 guest rooms each with its own separate bathroom). The house always had a friendly, very calm, considerate and private atmosphere. I really like this concept, especially for fair tourism on this beautiful island. You don’t stay in repurposed, overpriced rentals taken from locals. The room comes with a small fridge, coffee machine, kettle, dishes and a fold‑out table, so you can even skip breakfast. Super! Sun umbrella, surfboard and beach towels are available for sunny beach days, which is not a given and worth mentioning. The nice large bathroom is reachable via a short hallway, opposite the room, and was recently renovated with a rain shower and all accessories. The hosts personally greet you on arrival, hand over the room and show the house. You can always get tips and maybe run into the other guests for a casual chat. I really appreciated that. (And of course there is also a winter in the Canaries, where it can rain for several days and be cold and damp, so the windows are hard to open and clothes can get damp. This is basic knowledge about the chosen destination and you should never attach a missing heating in the rooms to a negative review of the accommodation, that’s simply unfair!)

The room was big. Standard bed. Location was right, close to the centre but not in it. Easy to park except on Sunday. The information wasn’t clear. The toilet isn’t in the room nor close; we think it could be better reflected.

Nothing! The room was icy and smelled terribly mouldy (the wall facing the outside dripped with moisture and was partially covered in mould); the host forbade us from opening the window to air out the room because the wooden frames “could not withstand the rain and would break” and she refused a portable heater because “it wasn’t listed in the description on booking” and even though I told her my partner couldn’t sleep that night and caught a cold: the degree 0 of hospitality and empathy! We left before the end of our stay (without any regret, quite the opposite).

Spacious, pleasant and well equipped room in a beautifully renovated house just off the town centre. We visited in January and during rainy days it was quite humid. Understandable, as the weather is usually good.
