I met Andrew, the owner, and he was incredibly engaging and full of useful information; the breakfast was solid and the cappuccino was lovely. We didn’t get a warm welcome when we arrived, and the trucks on the main road made a lot of noise. The patio and pool area could use a bit more tidying up.

The beds were comfortable and pleasant to sleep on, and the waiter in the restaurant was friendly and extremely efficient—he was definitely the highlight of the place. The food at the restaurant was great; we all ate well and had no complaints. However, staying in the loft room turned out to be a nightmare: later that night the room filled with a terrible sewerage smell that was unbearable. We eventually got the management to move us to a small cramped room, which had a missing window pane in the bathroom door and offered no privacy. The shower was small, tight, and not very clean. The owners and managers never apologized or even tried to say sorry. They’re not the type of people who should be running an establishment like this.

Everything was perfect! The food was delicious, and the owner and staff were so lovely and welcoming. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and attentive. I really enjoyed my stay and felt so comfortable here. A beautiful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Thank you for making my stay so special

The room is large, clean, and the beds are comfortable. The ‘suite’ we stayed in is right above the café’s restaurant and kitchen, so when we arrived the room smelled of fried food because fumes from the kitchen seep in. Restaurant staff chatting can also be heard quite clearly in the room, and the room faces a major road, which gets noisy.

The room was wonderfully arranged, quirky, and the fire from the restaurant below kept it warm; it was roomy, and the staff were friendly and helpful, plus the restaurant food was good. Unfortunately, our car’s tyre was slashed while parked outside, though that wasn’t the venue’s fault.
