“Split kevel”
The location was very convenient and quiet, with free parking. The rooms were clean and had extra provisions for breakfast, and the shower was great. However, the bed was totally soft and the pillows floppy. The rooms were very warm and you could only open a small bedroom window. The stick for opening the Velux windows in the sitting room had a broken hook, so I couldn’t open any upstairs. The biggest issue was that the ensuite bathroom was on a different level from the bedroom, requiring a long flight of stairs that was very difficult at night. I didn’t see any note that the bathroom was not by the bedroom, so I had a poor night’s sleep and ended up checking out after one night instead of the two I had booked, losing money on the deal. This must be made clear in the information to prevent others from experiencing the same discomfort.
