The welcome was very friendly and the lady was accommodating with the times. The beds were made and clean, towels were provided with individual soap. Thank you. Parking was convenient. Tea bags, coffee and sugar were available even if we didn’t use them (it would be better to offer them in individual sachets). The hallway lights, bathroom and toilet lights turned off too quickly. The shower had a very high step, perhaps a step should be added. It would be a shame not to have a microwave since plates were supplied.

“Tromperie, cauchemar et décor de film d'horreur”

If the accommodation had cost 30€ I would have said the room was properly equipped. Given the price and what followed, I cannot say that. The only good point: parking was easy and free in front of the property (logical since it’s an industrial area and the complex is around a large parking). I don’t know where to start. We accessed the lodging through an old loading bay. The building is an old office complex protected by a metal curtain like the shops. I say old, but one room is still occupied by an ambulance company, which arrived and opened the metal curtain at 7:40, waking us :-( There are 4 rooms in a long hallway. The first is the bedroom. The second is storage. The third is the ambulance office, and the fourth is surreal: a basic kitchen (stainless steel sink, fridge and microwave) with the shower in the same room. There is also a toilet shared with the office. This is totally illegal; a tourist accommodation must have a fully equipped kitchen, and the shower cannot obviously be in the same room. I reported this to the manager/owner when we left after the first night, she replied that “it’s a guest house.” Lie because she did not meet 3 of the 4 legal criteria, and especially the room is neither in her house nor on her property, so it is not a guest house. This accommodation is illegal and I don’t understand how they got permission. The mentioned equipment was not present, such as air conditioning. We have to traverse this long hallway, like a horror film, to get to the toilet at night (brrrr). Total lack of honesty from the manager when we asked her (“what’s the problem?”). But she has had years of contesting legitimate complaints from her tenants, she is well‑versed (see her reaction below for an example of her dishonesty). This lodging should never be available for rent, or at least for a loaf of bread. I can’t understand why so many travelers gave it a 9 or 10. Totally incomprehensible. Feeling claustrophobic, and the kitchen‑bathroom is surreal! We left the next morning even though we had paid for two nights. We requested a refund and will file a complaint with the regulatory authorities for the non‑conformity of the accommodation.

“Incubo a Marsiglia”

Absolutely nothing. Everything! This listing turned out to be a scam, a lodging totally out of norm, located inside a warehouse accessed through a shop curtain as an entrance! The room was totally inadequate, the bathroom far away with a tiny sink and a shabby toilet, shower inside a kind of kitchen with falling wall pieces and holes everywhere on the walls! Kitchen with a shabby and stinky fridge, shameful that a place like that is marketed as lodging! We asked for a refund which was denied, we were forced to leave and spend more money to stay the night because the place, besides being uninhabitable, was also in a poorly frequented and unsafe area. Shameful all, to be reported.
