The Meeressterne Hotel Residenz in Heringsdorf is a family-friendly hotel located 1.2 km from the sandy beach and town center. It features a spa area with sauna, café with terrace, and cozy library. Rooms have satellite TV, private bathrooms, and some have desks. The hotel offers bike rentals, massages, and a rich breakfast buffet, and is close to Gothensee Lake, Bansin, and Usedom Nature Park.

The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was beautifully presented. The location is a bit farther from the beach, which gives a quieter environment for a relaxing stay. Bikes can be rented on site. The furnishings are older, and I find the bathtub for showering impractical. There is no air conditioning or fan in the room, so it can get quite warm in the attic during the day. Nevertheless, everything is well maintained and clean, as shown in the photos.

The location is fairly quiet. It is too far from the Baltic Sea.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was plentiful; they even added a third pillow when we asked. The building feels old and needs a serious renovation to match the price‑to‑value ratio and meet modern standards, and the worn steps must be fixed to eliminate hazards.
