The hotel sits high in the jungle and is incredibly quiet. The entrance requires climbing a steep flight of stairs, but a small cart is available to haul heavy bags up and down. Filtered water is provided, and while the décor feels a bit dated—typical for a budget property—all the essentials function properly and the staff are very helpful, making it great value for money.

The view was nice, the room pleasant, and there was a fridge and a hot shower. At check‑out, the man brought my items to the luggage lift downstairs. When I tried to check in, nobody was there, so I had to call out to people nearby; they eventually fetched a man from his house. He ran out half‑running, still putting on his pants. At 2 a.m. the power went out, leaving me without light or air‑conditioning. Since no one was present, I had to wait until check‑out. I mentioned the issue at check‑out, but they didn’t understand or act on it.
