The view outside the window was magnificent, world‑class. The accommodation was also convenient, with the shuttle stop right downstairs. The room offered a free bar with fruit, tea bags, coffee, etc., making the stay more comfortable and convenient.

Pension Halberg met and even exceeded our expectations. We really liked the view and the location. Since we slept only one night it was very quiet and pleasant. Many places are nearby and it’s easy to see all of Hallstatt. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it!

The view from the room was even better than the photos showed!! The room was spacious, with cute design and colors. All kitchen utensils were available, and the supermarket was right in front. The hotel sits right in the middle of the famous photo spot and the park (artificial island), making it easy to reach the spots you want to visit. During the busy daytime, buying the famous bread? (with cream inside) and coffee and relaxing in the room while looking at the outside scenery was also great! The room was really clean and the view was amazing, so it was nice to be able to relax in the room while staying. The staff were also very kind and, since there was no breakfast, they told us about the open bakeries, supermarkets and cafés early in the morning, and the common areas always had clean coffee, tea, a microwave, and were very well equipped. No problems.
