The place was spotless and Mr. Vander was genuinely friendly, making the check‑in a breeze. The only downside was the lack of air‑conditioning, which made the evenings a bit warm. Still, it’s a solid pick if you don’t mind the heat and want to be about a ten‑minute walk from Cais Santa Luzia beach.

I had to switch rooms because the first one smelled bad in the bathroom and the bed was uncomfortable, plus the TV was ancient. The staff moved me quickly to a second room that was tidy, well‑organized, and had a cozy bed and fresh‑smelling bathroom. After that swap, the stay was pleasant.

Wander greeted us warmly and the room was spotless; the shared kitchen had everything we needed. The hostel is right next to a bakery and a supermarket and only a short drive from Angra dos Reis, which was perfect for us. We had no complaints at all and would pick this spot again.
