The hotel’s view is incredible, just like everywhere in Wengen. Breakfast offered good options! The room was spacious with a comfy balcony, but since we were there at the start of autumn, it was a bit chilly to enjoy the balcony. The hotel is beautiful, the corridors are well decorated, all with great care.

The on‑demand egg & pancake option is a real plus for a fabulous breakfast that even includes salmon, and the room’s terrace is huge with a probably amazing view. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on my side. If you’ve never been to Wengen or to this hotel and arrive after 5 pm, the hotel doesn’t have a standard procedure to explain how to get there. It’s a shame.

The spot is great and the staff were super helpful when we ran into trouble with plugs and a computer, and the bed was really comfy. The hummus and roasted veg dinner in the evening could have used a bit more vegetables and less hummus.

The location works well for seeing Wengen, but there’s no 24‑hour front desk service.
