Erick and Carole turned out to be genuinely lovely hosts, offering a variety of services that made me feel right at home from day one. Carole’s breakfasts and dinners were tasty, and as a solo traveler this was a great way to soak up Moorea’s welcoming vibe. The rooms could use a touch of updating; the linens look a bit dated and occasional wall stains detract from the overall charm.

The lagoon view is great, the bed is very comfortable, the air‑conditioning works well, there’s a safe, good value for money, and the pool is nice. The tap water isn’t potable, and there are unpleasant odors in the bathroom.

The complex sits on a hillside, secured at night by a locked fence. The studio offers a lovely ocean view, windows have mosquito nets, air‑conditioning is available, the shower is spacious, and there’s a small saltwater pool. However, the on‑site restaurant charges about 1200 xpf for just coffee and a slice of bread in the morning, and over 2000 xpf for a single dish in the evening. There’s no stove in the studio; only a microwave, kettle, and fridge. Scooter rentals cost more than 3000 xpf per day, and I spent a long time at the front desk between check‑in and arranging a scooter.

“Great location and vacation.”

The host was amazing, going above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed and assisting whenever I asked. It’s a great spot to unwind and enjoy nature.
