“Dirty lodge!! Shame on the park for not addressing this properly”
This lodge was stunning, but the lack of basic cleanliness upon arrival was a let‑down – the toilet was splattered with someone else’s excrement, the fridge was filthy with food waste and a dirty liquid at the bottom, and the bins were overflowing from the last guests. It was a really disappointing start to a family stay. The upkeep was very poor: toilet poo from last guests, bins full, fridge not cleaned, dirty pots in the dishwasher, and pots left to wash in the sink. We handed the lodge back cleaner when we left at check‑out. I tried to resolve this directly, but the accommodation was unwilling to accept responsibility. Here are the photos of what they feel is acceptable for new guests arriving.
