The dune location is simply spectacular, a dream for experiencing the desert—especially at sunrise and sunset. Ahmed is a fantastic host who answers all questions about the desert. If you don’t want to compromise on comfort, just book a tent with a bathroom and you’ll have everything you need.

The spot is gorgeous and super quiet, right at the base of the dunes. The tents are comfy and spotlessly clean. Nothing else to mention.

The experience was unfortunately negative, marked by overall unreliable management. From the start, communication with the host was difficult, with sparse and unclear answers to our questions. On one occasion the host offered only a generic comment (“here it’s hot”… seriously?) that didn’t help clarify or facilitate arrangements. After agreeing on a meeting point and time for transfer from the meeting point to the tent via camel, the host never showed up. Despite over 30 attempts via messages and calls, we received no response. We had to improvise an alternative solution at M’hamid, which we luckily found, but under uncertain and potentially critical conditions given the context, the time in the desert, and the impending sandstorm. Overall, a very disappointing experience due to lack of organization and communication, which severely compromised the planned activity that was supposed to be the highlight of the vacation.

A wonderful spot with the feeling of being the only one in the Sahara, yet fully equipped with luxury and comforts; fantastic food, staff, warm shower, friendly owner. No complaints.
