We traveled to uncover some family history. Our hosts were the best ever, introducing us to their friends and neighbors and telling us about the town's history, etc. We had the best introduction and explanation of local foods, drinks, etc. We now have a better understanding of our family history. It rained more than I would have liked.

The host was very friendly and the staff were very attentive, the location is great (directly on the bike network), the rustic, detail‑loving décor, very clean rooms, comfortable beds, good breakfast with exceptionally tasty cheese and sausage varieties, homemade jam and various spreads. Dogs are allowed for (proud) 15€. The house and furnishings are, despite the charm, truly old‑fashioned. The décor is simple, e.g., a curtain instead of a shower cabin. The rooms are extremely noisy. Nothing was a problem for us, but the advertised price is in no relation to the condition.
