The balcony and windows of the smugglers cabin offer a stunning view, and the restaurant is excellent. No complaints—nice view and feels well priced, especially the balcony.

The motel‑style room, converted from an abandoned sardine factory, is very basic but was recently refurbished and spotlessly clean. Its location on an old wharf gives a panoramic view of the Bay of Fundy and nearby islands. The attached restaurant serves wonderful seafood dinners and a hearty breakfast; nothing fancy, just “down east” good! The view and ambiance are enchanting, earning five stars. While a fussy guest could find flaws, those imperfections add charm. It isn’t a luxury resort, but it lets you deeply appreciate life on the Maine seacoast. Its proximity to Campobello and Quoddy Head Light makes it the ideal spot to experience that vibe.

The view is great, and we had a deck to sit outside and enjoy the scenery and weather. Absolutely nothing else to mention!

The old canning factory has been very nicely renovated. Rooms are beautifully laid out with windows overlooking the rocky shore, sparkling water once the fog lifts, islands, and fishing boats. There’s a great common space for groups with a full kitchen anyone can use. The whole place feels casual and very comfortable. The restaurant on site is great, and despite a few mishaps with our meal, the view was fabulous and the staff very friendly. The bathroom is a little small but hardly anything to complain about!

The view is wonderful and very peaceful. Staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was quite good and very reasonably priced. The common area has a very functional kitchen and a place to relax. No complaints at all.
