“Desilusión”
The room was large and the bathroom was separate from the shower; the bed was comfortable and towels were changed daily. The location was lovely and quiet, though a bit far from the town center. We arrived and were given a windowless room, even though I had booked a Superior Double Room that was advertised with windows in the photos. I explained this to the front desk clerk and they swapped us, but the room had to be cleaned and would be ready in an hour; we had already arrived after 3 pm. The new room faced a street with heavy truck traffic and was extremely noisy. The bathroom had a stale smell, so when they cleaned they left a lemon‑scented humidifier. We never had hot water during the entire stay. I reported it, they said to let the water run, but that clearly wasn’t the issue. They promised to look into it and never did. Breakfast was very disappointing: the first day was a buffet with few options, and we didn’t even have tea cups. The next day they switched to a menu and it improved, but the tea we received was bitter and the eggs were raw. We also asked about a bus to move around the city and there was no willingness to help. I do not recommend it; it’s very expensive for what it offers.
