The location is great, right in the middle of Monte Verde Avenue, but we had issues with the shower: the water was either too cold or too hot, the mixer didn’t work, and we had to adjust the gas heater outside the chalet, yet the temperature still didn’t settle. Also, the fireplace only accepts wood bought at the lodge, which costs more than elsewhere.

The structure is excellent, spacious, and located right in downtown Monte Verde; everything was very clean, no complaints.

The place couldn't be more central – I was popping back to the apartment all the time just to drop a jacket or use the bathroom because it was literally on the main strip. The staff member who checked us in was super friendly and really attentive, which made the stay feel like good value for the money. The room stayed nice and warm and the fridge chilled things instantly.

Staying here was a breeze – everything we wanted was within walking distance, right off the main avenue of Monte Verde. We explored the town on foot and never needed a car. The front desk guy, “Rapaizinho,” was incredibly kind and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

I liked pretty much everything about the room – the bed was comfy, the shower worked fine, and the fireplace added a nice touch. The only thing that bothered me was the cold floor; there were just a couple of rugs, so it felt pretty chilly underfoot. Adding a few more rugs, plus maybe a microwave or a coffee maker, would make it perfect.
