1 double bed
The host Shiva and his mother were very pleasant. Almost every day black monkeys (langurs) come to the tree opposite the house and can be seen from the windows of adjacent rooms; there are also peacocks on that tree. You can feed them with bananas. They’re very calm and don’t approach people closer than two metres. The distance to Jungle Beach and Unavatuna Beach is the same. Fruit can be bought on the first floor and on the way to the beaches. It’s quiet. The veranda is cozy, with a fridge, kettle, tables, and dishes. Monitor lizards roam everywhere, squirrels in the trees, kingfishers. Along the shore you can walk to sea turtles to feed them in the sea while watching them. Shiva taught us how to feed the monkeys and told us about their characteristics. Nearby in the jungle we met a beautiful large iguana. Mosquito netting, hot water, a large and comfortable bed, and you can see the sea from the stairs! We will definitely return on our next visit.
“Would stay here again”
The place sits in a calm, unintrusive spot. The bed was large and super comfy, and the sheets were very clean. The owner is friendly, the Wi‑Fi was solid, and the kitchen was adequate. The bathroom leaked water everywhere; a mop might help.
Waking up to monkeys in the trees each morning was a highlight, and the café across the street is fantastic.
“Peaceful stay”
We enjoyed a lovely stay; the rooms were spotless and offered a nice jungle view from the balcony. The owners were kind and helpful, and they run a small shop right next to the building for any last‑minute purchases. A kitchen sink and table in the common area let you cook if you wish. The location is a bit remote, but that adds to the peace, and there are a few nearby restaurants. Thanks for a wonderful experience :)
