“DELUDENTE ESPERIENZA IN ROULOTTE”

Unfortunately, we stayed for barely a night, so there was nothing to praise. If the hygiene standards had been met, we might have enjoyed our stay. Our experience in this caravan fell short of expectations. We chose this place to ensure comfort for our large dog, but we encountered several problems. We arrived at 17:00 and, after a restless night, left the caravan at 02:00 because it was impossible to sleep or breathe in those conditions. Upon arrival, we didn’t feel welcomed. The caravan was locked with a padlock, and once inside we immediately noticed a foul odor similar to sewage. Unfortunately, the bathroom was dirty and the toilet paper holder was full of toilet paper. To use the space, we had to buy bleach and air fresheners to sanitize the environment. Additionally, the air conditioner emitted a strong dust smell. When we opened the conditioner, we realized the filters had never been cleaned. There was also the issue with our dog: although the property accepts pets, there were no poop bags and we noticed stray dogs without any enclosure, which made it difficult to manage the situation. After a restless night, we tried to contact the owner by phone the next day, but received no response. Booking also tried to reach him without success. Finally, we sent a WhatsApp message and, after persistence, received a reply. Instead of apologizing, the owner blamed us for all the problems. I advise anyone looking for a caravan to be cautious of these issues before booking. This experience left us extremely disappointed and frustrated, and I do not recommend this place to anyone seeking reliable service and professional management.

The room was very cute, welcoming, and equipped with everything needed for the stay. We spent only one night and were satisfied. The owner was kind and helpful, and overall it was a positive experience. However, we expected more from the farmhouse: being a place of this type, we would have liked a more curated, warm, and inviting environment that matches the atmosphere expected from a Sicilian farmhouse. In our view, the property has great potential, but some areas and details could be enhanced further. With a bit more attention, we think the farmhouse could become even more beautiful and special.

The only thing I liked was the private pool that was presented as a shared one for other guests; however, the room was never cleaned during the five‑day stay, the sheets were never changed, the host was rude, there was no Wi‑Fi in the room, and we ended up paying €110 per person per day instead of the €40 we expected. There was zero welcome or courteous treatment, my husband couldn’t work because the owner wouldn’t let him use the dining area with Wi‑Fi, causing financial loss, and the photos even showed goats that never appeared.
