The old‑style property had large rooms, and Mr. Pandian at the front desk was very courteous, understanding, and helpful. However, housekeeping and food delivery were extremely slow, the duty manager Ashok was rude and nonchalant, the rooms were unclean with dirty sheets, insects and huge spiders were present, and it seemed the staff were severely short‑staffed.

I enjoyed the colonial‑era stay and love the property; it’s huge with peacocks roaming freely. It’s ideal for those who want quiet, but be aware of nearby noise during the festive season.

I loved the property’s location, amenities, and staff. The restaurant serves great food, and the place has a vintage, ancestral vibe. The peacocks and other birds add to the charm. Nothing major, just that the restaurant could improve, and the lack of elevators might be an issue for ground‑floor rooms if we don’t specify our needs.

The staff handled security with great professionalism, and the restaurant team, especially Mr. Nallaraman, went above and beyond to make our lunch memorable, ensuring we had the right portions and even recommending a special dish that delighted my family. The natural setting and the care given to the birds and other wildlife were truly remarkable. A pleasant stay overall, and I’m especially grateful to Mr. Abhishek and Mr. Pandian for arranging our temple visit.
