The owners, Catherine and Didier, were friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was decent with nice homemade jams. However, the photos on the website were completely misleading; the pool was dirty and unusable, which was a big let‑down on a warm day when we wanted to swim after a long day. The grounds were overgrown, full of weeds and clutter everywhere.

The stay was pleasant, with a French‑style breakfast featuring excellent homemade jams. The staircase to the rooms was a bit hard to climb for older guests.

The room was spacious and the proximity to the ocean was a plus, and the breakfast on the second morning was inside. We had to move the car three times, couldn’t use a lounge chair because that area was reserved for the cottage, and were told we were 15 minutes early for the first breakfast.
