“Häuschen mit viel Liebe und Charme eingerichtet.”
We ordered breakfast later, and it exceeded our expectations; the small, pretty cottage was set up with a lot of love and charm. The shower/bath is too small.

The apartment was adorable and cozy, exactly what we wanted in a traditional Swedish cottage; every detail was designed to make us feel welcome, and we felt like we were living in a village from a bygone era. We were just passing through and would have liked to stay longer in this timeless place.

The farm setting was surprising and charming, tucked in the middle of suburban retail development. It was quiet and peaceful. A cab took only 10 minutes to the lakeside, and the Bolt app provided reliable, good‑value taxis, so there was no need to overpay for hotels in the city center. It was a real find, authentically Swedish and family‑run, with owners who pride themselves on getting things right. The breakfast basket was generous. We should have planned to stay longer.

The host was friendly, the house offered quiet and space (the garden), and the pizza night in their restaurant was nice. The décor was atmospheric and the beds were comfortable. It was a good base to see the highlights around Vasteras. We missed a few practical details, such as storage space, a shoe rack or a towel rack. The light in the shower was quite dim. These are really just details!

The breakfast was just right, offering a variety of breads, spreads, and fruit, with yogurt and muesli for those who liked it and the option to make porridge for others. Eggs and orange juice were kept in the fridge, and the balcony was lovely, catching both morning and evening sun. I would have liked some crispbread for breakfast, though.
