“Good value stay in the lovely M’Pai Bay”

The location was great, just a few minutes’ walk to the main town and the same distance to a quiet beach with clear water. The room was rustic but roomy, with a comfy bed and a good mosquito net. I appreciated the outdoor patio to dry wet swim gear and overall had a good stay. Sound carried into the room, so you could hear music or neighbors at all hours—earplugs were recommended. The upstairs shared bathroom could have been cleaner at times.

“friendly, clean and beautiful beach”

I was blown away by how welcoming the owners were, always ready to answer questions and eager to pitch in. The bathrooms and bedrooms were spotless and roomy, and the common areas were perfect for relaxing or playing cards. Every day there’s a happy hour that’s a cheap way to meet fellow backpackers, and the music bingo was an absolute blast. I can’t wait to come back next year!

We had a fantastic time at Lovesick, and after a couple of nights we extended because we loved it so much. The staff and volunteers are super friendly and welcoming, creating a great vibe. The location is ideal, right on the beach and just a short walk to Plankton Beach.

“Pas cher mais mériterait un peu d'entretien”

The staff were friendly and the location cheap and good. The bed was only moderately comfortable, there was a big hole in the mosquito net, a lock that barely closed the door, and windows that could be opened from the outside… it’s a shame. There’s no piece of furniture to put your stuff in the room. It looks only moderately maintained; a little more effort could make it much nicer.
