A lovingly run inn with an excellent breakfast buffet. The location is ideal for a visit to Riegersburg. The furnishings may be a bit dated, but the value for money easily makes up for it. We’ll definitely come back.

We picked this place because it sat in a convenient spot for our return from Italy, and we were pleasantly surprised to discover it’s in a lovely little village. The hotel is run by a family, and even though we don’t speak German, we got along fine and the staff were warm and helpful. The on‑site restaurant is excellent; the food was tasty and we really enjoyed dinner there. Breakfast is also solid, varied, and starts early, which is great for travelers.
