The place was dirty, with broken equipment that should have been fixed—floor was warped, walls were stained, outlet covers were missing, the bathroom mirror was cracked, there was no heating or air‑conditioning, and there were bugs on the floor, like little earthworms.

It was centrally located, but the elevator stuck sometimes and other times didn’t reach the floor, there were bad smells in the room right when we entered (cigarette odor), the bathroom door had no lock, the outlets lacked safety covers, and the keycard kept malfunctioning so we had to keep replacing it.
