I had a negative experience. The owner entered my private bathroom while I was showering without warning. On my last night, when I returned, I found a letter and a pomegranate in my room that weren’t there before I left. Since I wasn’t told anyone had accessed the room, I assumed someone had entered while I was away and decided to leave. I’m attaching photos and the chat with the person who handed me the key.

Water had already leaked, a key was missing from the room door so I got it back that evening. The neighborhood was very hot and noisy, with a small dog that wouldn’t stop barking.

The biggest plus was the location – just a 10‑minute walk to the main station. The room was spacious, clean, and the price was absolutely reasonable. The bed was very comfortable and there was a balcony. The area was quiet. The main issue was communication with the hosts; you need to arrange check‑in times in advance or you’ll wait a long time at the door. On Booking they reply very reluctantly and in one sentence. I also missed a fridge in the room. The apartment is on the fourth floor, but there were small orange ants in the room.

The room had plenty of space and decent furniture, and I really admire the host’s nonprofit work helping people in need – it’s a genuinely noble cause that deserves recognition. I had to wait 40 minutes before I could enter the room, even though I’d already contacted the host twice a few days earlier and let him know I was arriving. The room itself was spacious but it hadn’t been cleaned when I got there, so I had to wait for the host to tidy it. The floor was very dirty; walking barefoot made my feet turn grey/black. Checking out was also unpleasant – no goodbye, no thank‑you, just the host taking the keys. He explained he was late because of his nonprofit work. I respect that work, but I struggled to understand how that could explain the lack of hospitality and basic courtesy. If someone can’t properly manage accommodation because of another commitment, it would be better to reorganise or not offer the service at all. The overall experience was disappointing, especially since the problems were not just about the accommodation but clearly about the lack of hospitality.

The room was set up nicely, but the privacy in the guest house felt a bit off.
