The spot’s location is superb, the whole place spotless, and the staff are friendly with clear communication whenever I asked anything. I enjoyed the game drive and Moses, our guide, was excellent. The sunset was breathtaking, and I wish I could have spent a whole day on the balcony just listening to the birds as the sun set.

The reception welcomed us warmly, and the meals were extraordinary; the waiter and chef were very friendly and the hospitality outstanding. The facilities bring you close to nature, though I wasn’t told that the road to the lodge isn’t sedan‑friendly.

We loved visiting the Lion Foundation, where the camp cares for abused lions—these animals are flourishing, and it’s heartening to see people dedicated to the cause. We were also amazed to find rescued donkeys, each with its own character and well cared for. On the game drive we spotted giraffes, impalas, and golden wildebeest; the whole week was restful and we can’t wait to return.
